Pakistani Team wearing Shalwar Kameez in Opening Ceremony of Mega Event.
Yesterday I watched Opening Ceremony of London Olympics 2012. I couldn’t sleep just to watch Pakistani team entrance in this world’s mega event which has all countries from all over the world. I heard that Pakistani team will wear Shalwar Kameez in opening ceremony. That’s why I was more excited to see nation’s hero in their national dress.
Though, ceremony was not much according to Pakistani culture and Islamic creeds, I just want to see Pakistani team. The ceremony was started about 1 am according to Pakistan standard time. Pakistan team entered in ground very late as organizers were calling countries as alphabetically order.
At last, Pakistani team entered in ground with Sabz Hilali Parcham which was holding by Pakistani hockey player Sohail Abbas. I want to share this scene with you so I am sending this article and video to AwamiWeb.
