Spokesman of ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) has categorically denied the media reports which were claiming that Pakistan has bought military equipments from Israel. ISPR spokesman added that report is not based on facts and is also misleading.
Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” has published British government report according to which Israel exported military equipment to Pakistan and four Arab countries Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Report further says that these countries were clients of Israeli defense industries from the past five years. All these five countries have no diplomatic relations with Israel.
The newspaper further stated that “In 2010, Israel applied for permits to export electronic warfare systems and HUDs with components from Britain to Pakistan,”
On 5th June Indian home minister Sushilkumar Shinde said that Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency of Pakistan was pressuring Sikh militant leaders to target Punjab and other parts of India. Pakistan’s foreign ministry spokesman Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry rejected allegations of India and stated that these type of statements are regrettable and uncalled for.
