Karachi: Pak-India Dangal event that was to be held on July 15 has been called off citing Visa issues. According to Nadeem pehalwan who is the organizer of the event, Pakistani authorities did not issue clearance to the Indian wrestlers which created hurdle in holding the event.
While commenting on the delay of event, Pakistani officials told that the India players were not granted clearance certificate owing security issues. The new dates will be announced during the last week of August, organizer told.
It is to mention here that the Second Pakistan-India Dangal was held back in November on an Indian request in order to bring the people on both sides of the border closer to each other.
