Due to the rapid increase of human trafficking Pakistani will soon be included in the World Watch List. In last four years the number of human smugglers has increased from 89 to 141. These human smugglers are sending people to European and African countries in a huge number. However, Red Warrant has been issued for 17 most wanted human smugglers of Pakistan.
Pakistan is suffering through many problems one of which is human trafficking. There are now 141 top human smugglers among which majority belong to Gujrat and Gujranwala. The rest of them belong to Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Azaad Jammu and Kashmir and Mandi Bahauddin.
Pakistan has failed to implement the Trafficking and Customs Protection Act that was given to it by United Nations (UN), said an officer of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). These 141 smugglers have almost 8,000 agents in the country.
In 2009 61,200 people were caught from Pak-Iran and Pak-Afghan border were being smuggled. About 8,000 people were sent to European and African countries by those smugglers. Due to this FIA has released a list of 17 most wanted smugglers.
These smugglers include Niaz Jaafri, Malik Ihsaan, Khalifa Imtieaz, Kotla Arab Khan, Bar Mazhar and Muhammad Malik from Gujranwala, Rashid Mehmood, Chaudhry Ahsan, Ishfaq Ahmed, Sajjad Ahmad, Dr. Sajid Mehmood and Abdul Haqq from Gujrat, Nusrat Butt and Ahmad Mehmood from Sialkot, Malik Faisal Rasool from Rawalpindi, Agha Innayat from Mandi Bahauddin and Amanat Ali from Jhang.
