Islamabad: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has warned the Pakistani government that if Government intervention in the affairs of the Pakistan Olympic Association is not topped then Pakistan’s Olympic member will be suspended this year in July. The International Olympic Committee notified in the letter on the name of Ministry of Government of Pakistan which is posted by the IOC’s director general Christopher DiCaprio.
The letter clearly stated that the government of Pakistan did not have any such results that show government intervention in the affairs of Pakistan Olympic Association has terminated. However Pakistan agreed on a roadmap in October 2013.
Letter also stated that the Pakistan Olympic Association’s office and bank account yet not delivered to the International Olympic Committee’s approved Pakistan Olympic Association whereas some people occupies on the office of Association while the property is using illegally.
The International Olympic Committee said that the Pakistan government has not kept its promises but has suggested further dialogue. The IOC says the executive board will suspend Pakistan from the Olympic movement at its next meeting in July if the country does not conform to rules assuring the independence of elected sports officials.

As the IOC has now decided that it will interrupt Pakistan in its next executive board meeting to be held in July this year, if government does not stop violating the IOC Contract.
