Karachi: The National Investment Trust Limited (NIT) which is the largest mutual fund in the country with Rs. 81 billion under running has announced heavy dividend of Rs4 per unit for unit holders for the year ended June 30, 2011, in a meeting of the board on Tuesday.
NIT announces the profits dividend for the following NIT funds at various rupees per unit,
- NIUT Fund: Rs. 3.50 per unit
- NIT Government Bond Fund: Rs. 1.1094 per unit
- NIT Income Fund: Rs. 1.1065 per unit
The profits would be given to those unit holders whose name is enlisted in the NIT records on June 30, 2012.
On the occasion, Chairman and MD Wazir Ali Khoja told the press and public that NIT had shaped outstanding results for the year ended June 30, 2011 and declared impressive bonuses on all funds under its administration.
