Kimberley: New Zealand black caps continue their winning from the 1st ODI match and won the three match series against South Africa. After winning the toss the South African new captain Faf du Plessis elected to field. New Zealand after a slow start managed to set a target of 279 on the board.
New Zealand batsmen Kane Williamson scored an unbeaten 145 of 136 he was supported by Grant Elliott by 48 under his name. New Zealand ended up with 279-9 and the target was set for South Africa to chase. South Africa was provided with a good opening start but a part of their first three players no one was able to score and guide their team to victory. South Africa ended up with 252 and loss their all wickets on the first ball of last over.
New Zealand convincingly won the match by 27-runs and wins the 3-match series 2-0. KS Williamson was awarded with the Man of the Match for his match winning century. The final match between the two teams will be played on 25th January.
