A new organ has been classified in a new research by Dr. J. Calvin Coffey, but it’s not something new rather only the classification was changed.
Mesentery helps to carry blood and other fluid to intestines and the rest of the body. And another more prominent work of mesentery is that it maintains the position of intestine and connects it with abdominal.
[junkie-alert style=”green”] In 1878 Carl Toldt said the same thing but his findings were ignored and overlooked. In 1885 Leonardo da Vinci called it one contiguous organ. And now finally after two centuries it is classified as an organ. [/junkie-alert]
The research by Dr. J. Calvin Coffey not only classifies this organ but also details the purpose of this organ, its shape and why previously it was not called an organ. Dr Coffey said it is located in a remote location between abdominal wall and organs restricting the access only through radiologically.
