The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement has said that the National Conference and PDP parties were deceiving Kashmiris by raising the issue of the death sentence to a Kashmiri youth, Muhammad Afzal Guru.
He said that the JKSM will launch a mass agitation against the Indian conspiracies of settling non-Kashmiris and issuing of State Subject to outsides in Kashmir.
Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement and APHC leader, Zaffar Akbar Bhat while addressing people in Civil Line and Yarwami Shakirabad in Batamaloo in Srinagar, that the Kashmiri are only permanent residents of the territory adding that the India government and its regime and other parties are planning to change the demography of Kashmir by settling the Indian people in Kashmir. These parties are misleading people.
Bhat has opposed the execution of Muhammad Afzal Guru in the fake Indian parliament attack case. He said that hanging Afzal Guru would produce hundreds like him and Kashmiris would register their severe protest against the political murder of an innocent Kashmiri.
The APHC leader, Zaffar Akbar Bhat appealed the UN Human Rights Council, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and other international rights’ organisations to help probe the unmarked graved in Kashmir.
He expressed serious concern over the continued detention of party activists and other Hurriyet leaders and activists languishing in different jails in Kashmir and Jammu areas. He also paid rich tributes to the Shaik Noor Mohammad.
