SUKKUR: The Opposition leader Khursheed Shah has said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif should take parliament into confidence on Yemen issue, adding that Pakistan has good relationships with Saudi Arabia like brothers but we ourselves are in the state of war.
While talking to media outside his residency in Sukkur, the opposition leader said if All Parties Conference (APC) can be called on other issues, so why not it can be called on Yemen and Saudi Arabia’s issue. He suggested calling APC.
Khursheed Shah said that indiscriminate action was being taken against terrorists in Karachi, adding that no specific political party was being targeted. He further said that the accused arrested from Nine Zero were still in the custody.
The opposition leader added that there should not be any militant wing in political parties and no party was being put to the wall. It should be clear here that Saudi Arabia had contacted Pakistan to support in the war against Houthi militants in Yemen.
Since Pakistan has showed its intention to support Saudi Arabia, political parties have started to warn the government to stay away from the war because Pakistan is already in war against terrorism. Saudi air strikes have killed over 6 dozens Houthi militants in Yemen.
