Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he would not get affected by the political pressures that have aroused due to the problems face d by the country. In the upcoming years, the government would give away 5 lacs homes to the masses. He expressed these views while meeting to a delegate that comprised of IMF Mission Chief Jeffrey Franks, Minister of Turkey Housing and IMF member, Director of Asia Masood Ahmed.
PM said that his government in 1997 had introduced the scheme bearing the name ‘My home’. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that Turkey and Pakistan would enter into good terms, enhancing their bilateral trading and economic relations.
Earlier too during his reign, Nawaz government had introduced several problems aimed at solving the financial issues of the masses but none of them had been a success. “Qarz Utaro Mulk Sanwaro” and “Apna Ghar” scheme ended up losing hopes.
They had been financial setbacks to the government. “The Rozgar Scheme” initiated by them proved to be a loss. People were given the earning resources, majorly tractors to the farmers. The working class did not pay back the amount after availing the service.
