GUJRANWALA: The Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Mr Imran Khan has said that in case of any loss, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif will be responsible, adding that if anyone loses his life, the youth will bring both the brothers to book and if any untoward situation happens to me and I will be alive, I will bring both the brothers to book.
While talking to the media persons, Imran Khan said that he advised his party members to remain peaceful. He added that he already had shared his concerns over possible attacks with police. He further said that the First Information Report (FIR) of the incident would be filed against Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif. He said that PMLN’s party members were throwing stones and firing at us whereas the police were not producing security to us.
Imran Khan said that we were advancing peacefully, mothers, sisters, children and old men were with us and we were not holding weapons and rods. It is pertinent to mention here that the clash between PTI and PMLN party members was taken place near Gujranwala. Members of Nawaz League pelt stones to the rally of PTI and PTI party workers made retaliatory attack on Nawaz League party workers and used rods and stones.
According to sources, the police were at a fiasco to cope with the untoward situation whereas the party workers of PMLN also threw stones to media’s vehicles. On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Punjab Mr Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and sought report of the incident from DPO.
