Islamabad: A two day National Conference on Media Ethics, Theory and Practices will be held here under Press Council of Pakistan from 28-29 June, 2012 at Hill View Hotel, Jinnah Super Markaz.

The event starting tomorrow will be held under the banner head ‘Stand Together for Freedom of Press with Responsibility’. It will provide a concrete platform to the brilliance of Pakistan to exchange their views for strengthening press freedom by promoting responsible journalism and encouraging journalistic excellence.

On the first day of a two day journalistic event, Presentation of Research paper by the academia of prestigious Institutions of Pakistan would be presented.

Ethics and Laws: Role of Mass Communications Department, role of APNS, CPNE, Press Council, PEMRA, Civil Society and Journalist Unions would be discussed the second and last day of the event.
