Karachi: Jamat-e-Islami Karachi chief Muhammad Hussain Mehanti has blamed the government that it has left the city on the mercy of MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement), who has taken revenge of the killing of its activists from the 15 million people of the city.
“Political worker’s assassination resulted in the lost of 9 more lives, over a dozen buses set on fire and thousands of labors are left to starve”, he said.
“Army Operation is not the solution to control violence in Karachi instead it is possible through maintaining the writ and application of Law, Order and Constitution. There is nothing like law here, the Provincial government should resign as it has failed to establish law and order in the city.” JI Karachi Chief expressed during an urgent press conference at Idara Noor-e-Haq on Tuesday (27th March).
Jamat-e-Islami Secretary Karachi Naseem Siddique, deputy chiefs Barjez Ahmed, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Nasarullah Khan, and several other members were also present at the occasion.
They said that once again Karachi is under extreme violence and 9 innocent people have lost their lives over the killing of a political activist with a loss of billion rupees because of the unannounced strike in the metropolis.
They also expressed their grief with the effected family and demanded for judicial investigations over the killing of political activist Mansoor Mukhtar and his brother.
