Nadeem A. Malik has been appointed as the new Country Head of Microsoft Pakistan. He will be assuming his post from the third week of this month. Sources quote that Mr Nadeem A Malik has resigned from his post at Huawei Enterprise. He was working at this post since four years. in 2011, he was hired as the head Huawei’s newly launched Enterprise Business Group. He successfully raised Huawei Enterprise into main stream of ICT principal vendors.
Nadeem A. Malik will join Microsoft Pakistan to head the company with around USD 30 million dollars in annual revenues. He is accepting the responsibility at a time when is generating major share of the revenue through private sector on account of anti-piracy drives. A lot is expected from him due to his potentials.
Mr Nadeem A. Malik is hoped to reconstruct the strategy for commercial sector or the company will continue to harvest short-term revenues by litigating banks and SMEs. He will have to engage the public sector’s potential and generate revenues for the company that will sustain for longer time duration. He is also expected to expand Microsoft’s cooperation with HEC through which it offers discounted solutions and services to students across the country.
