Islamabad: The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) that in the Pakistani migrants 58% of the number includes children and this number is high in South Asia.
In the report issued by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) it states that Pakistanis have migrated to other countries and among those migrants 58% of the number are children.
According to the UNICEF, it was because if the instability and internal conflicts that people were forced to leave and migrate to other countries. However, 16 Lac people from other countries have migrated to Pakistan.
By the title of ‘Uprooted’ this reports states that the ongoing conflicts, uncertain situations, natural disasters and the rise in population have forced the people in many Asian countries to migrate to other countries within the continent.
In 2015, the number of Asian migrants was 10 crore 40 lac, which was the 43% number of the total of the entire world migrants. And majority of those 43% migrated within Asia.
In Asia, the destination of the migrants is determined by two elements. One is employment and the other is conflict. They migrate to other countries to seek employment or otherwise they get into some conflict.
