Karachi: General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Naseem Siddiqui has paid special thanks to the people of the city for their positive response and taking keen interest on the stall organized by ‘Maktaba-e-Noor Haq’ and ‘Raah Television’ at 8th Annual International Book Fair. On the fifth day of the exhibition, Naseem Siddiqui has said the main aim to provide books at discounted price at the stall was to invite the people towards studies.
Siddiqui further said JI wants to enlighten the society with the Islamic education, as acquiring education is the main theme of Islam. Compilation of the Quranic translation by prominent religious scholar Allama Moulana Moudoudi, ‘Tafheem-ul-Quran’, books related to religion, Islamic history, literature, CDs of ‘Hamd’, Na’at and booklets of other scholars were also available at discounted price.
Meanwhile, Naseem Siddiqui said the JI will take part in such type of positive activists in the future in order to spread the teachings of Quran and Sunnah among the masses.
