Dr.M.A.Shah Tape Ball cricket tournament was aired from PTV Sports on 19th February, 2012 (Sunday). Four matches of quarterfinals were aired on PTV Sports which was played at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, Karachi.  Semi-finals and final will be played on 20th February, 2012 (Monday). 24 teams participated in the knock out tape ball tournament.

The first semi final match will be played at 7:00 PM PST on 20th February, 2012 (Monday) followed by second semi final and final. Singer Amjad Sabri, Najam Sheraz and Tehseen Javed will perform on Monday.

On 17th February, 2012 (Friday) Super Tape Ball Cricket Season 1 from Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, Karachi was to be aired from GEO Super but the matches were not broadcasted as to Geo Super said that there was some problem in flood lights of Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
