Karachi: Renown singer, host and Chairman of Sindh Censor board Fakhr-e-Alam has said that no institution can progress until or unless strict rules and regulations are formed in the country. People had switched to watching dramas rather than movies due to their indecency. There is some betterment in this connection now.
Fakhr said that it would be his utmost priority to stop screening of any such movie that can bring bad practices or promote immodesty in the society. The singer said that the music industry has witnessed tremendous set back because of illegal works.
The Lahori artist said that once an album of a singer gets released, soon pirated DVDs, cds illegally produced get stocked up in the markets. This doesn’t result in loss to the album release companies only but also to the singer itself. Presently no singer is ready to launch his or her new album due to the wide practice of piracy. He expressed these wordings in a meeting.
