Punjab’s Population Welfare Department aims to control the population of Punjab, create awareness about gap during pregnancy and promote family planning. For this objective a professional team is required for which new jobs are available.
The department collects statistics, analyzes the information and then recommends & implements polices.
How to Apply?
Applicants cannot apply as no such facility is provided on the official website. So if you are interested to become part of the Population department which is working to control and reduce the birth rates in the province, then follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of the department.
- Selects careers section by clicking on ‘jobs’
- Browse the available jobs to select the post for which you want to apply
- Read the details and requirements to make sure you fulfill the minimum requirements
- Apply for the job by sending your application to the department
While sending your documents to the department remember these points:
- Write the title of post on the envelope
- Attach attested copies of your CNIC, Domicile certificate, academic certificates, training certificates and experience letter.
- Attach recent photographs with your application.
- Also send your updated CV along with other documents.
- If your CV reaches after due date then it will not be considered for the vacancy.
Selection Process:
The selection process in the department is same as any other government department. After due date CV’s are analyzed by HR and shortlisted candidates are informed about the location, date and time of written test and interview.
For some posts only interviews will be conducted while for others written test and interview both will be conducted.

Eligibility Criteria:
Only domicile holders are Punjab are eligible for the post. Islamabad is the federal territory and domicile holders of Islamabad will not be considered for the job.
Other requirements such as age limit, minimum education, experience or training differ from one post to another, it will be revealed with the job advertisement.
