SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir police has enforced fifth safety act against the Hurriayt leader Shakil Ahmed Butt and shifted him in Kot Balwal Jail in Jammu. Meanwhile the district court Badgam has fixed the hearing date of Hurriyat leader Syed Imtiaz Haider on 21st and 22nd of November.
Shakil Ahmed Butt who is resident of Fatah Kadal and was under arrest at Central Jail Srinagar has been under prison indicted with a fifth safety act and has been shifted in Kot Balwal Jail. Shakeel Butt has been under arrest from 2008 but he was released for one month in 2009 and war again arrested; meanwhile according to the family sources of Shakeel Butt the health of Butt is deteriorating day by day, adding that in the result of shifting at Balwal Jail the threats to the life of Butt has been increased.
Meanwhile the district court Badgam has fixed the hearing date of Hurriyat leader Syed Imtiaz Haider on 21st and 22nd of November. It is worth mentioning here that in 2010 a police cop was killed and Syed Imtiaz Haider was indicted including five other persons on charges of murder. Hurriyat leader Syed Imtiaz Haider tried to prove in the court that he was not present on the incident cite and was leading rally in Hamhama.
According to the family sources police is trying to involve Imtiaz in the killing of a persons who was killed in the traffic accident. The Hurriyat has termed the imposition of another safety act as the worst example of terrorism, adding that 11 times the high court issued orders of release of Butt but every time the Indian police enforces another safety act against him.
