The construction of Jamia Masjid-e-Ashiq has been completed making it the first mosque of Bahria Town Karachi. The mosque is built beautifully not only from the outside but the interior & the inside view of the mosque is also fascinating.
The construction is a mixture of Arabic, Mughal & Persian Architecture. The Minaret is of Arabic style, the dome is of Mughal style, the glass work is similar to Persian architecture while the flooring reflects modern design.
It’s located in the Precinct 1 of Bahria Town which is the biggest gated housing project of Pakistan spread over an area of 44,000 acres. Just like the society the Masjid is also built according to the world standards with all facilities available.
The Masjid become operational last month and is now open for residents & public who can offer their 5 times prayer in the mosque. Bahria Town is designed in a way that each precinct will have all basic facilities, including mosque.
Grand Jamia Mosque is also being built in Bahria Town Karachi which will become the largest mosque in Pakistan and the third biggest mosque after the two holy mosques in Makkah & Madina. The foundation stone for the Masjid was laid in 2015 and it is hoped that within 5 years the construction will be completed.
