Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), the provincial capital Peshawar nearby area, Faqeerabad is found to be a centre of terrorist activities of the enemies through which links are maintained of India, Israel and Somalia. According to the local media, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and police have raided the area and recovered 20 telephone lines. Through these telephones, links were maintained with the respective countries. However, no arrests could be made.
According to a local newspaper, Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL) had informed FIA of the heft call rates charged within 3 days with a total amount of Rs 43 million. The case has been forwarded to FIA for further investigation.
FIA along with the police team forces raided the three room based apartment. It carried 20 telephone lines through which continuous contacts were made to the countries. The raiding team have taken in custody the recovered equipments, however the involved ‘terrorists’ had fled the scene before the arrival of the forces.
Initial investigation reports state point to fake registration of CNIC that belongs to a resident of Punjab province. Proper investigations have been under taken by the investigative team for under scoring the reasons for remaining in touch with the foreign countries by the alleged terrorists.
These terrorists are likely to be natives of some foreign country who reside in Pakistan for their ulterior terrorist motives.
