Chairman Pakistan Tereek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has demanded of the government to resign for its failure to solve problems facing people and the complex issues confronting the country.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad he said that his party is ready to assume the responsibility of the government.
He appealed to all the people including civil society people to attend a protest walk tomorrow to support the affectees of drone attacks. He said parliament’s joint session had opposed drone attacks but government did not honour the resolution adopted by it and pressure is being put on our own people.
He said Tehrik-e-Insaf staged ‘Dharna’ against NATO supplies to Afghanistan in protest.
He said Jamaima Khan has arrived in Pakistan to prepare a documentary on losses caused by the drone attacks. According to him the innocent people are being killed in the drone attacks. Much lies are being spoken about the drone attacks, he added.
