The HEC has launched a brand new project titled ‘Textbook and Monograph Writing Scheme’ to encourage new authors to bring forward their ideas and knowledge in different fields of education. This programme is aimed towards PhD graduate professors and hopes to increase the level of Research and Development in the country and strengthen the countries author contingency.
The Textbook and Monograph writing Scheme invites all members of the PhD faculty from HEC recognized universities all over Pakistan. The authors are invited to bring their works related to a number of topics following HEC approved curricula in emerging fields including, IT, Robotics,Biotechnology as well as Basic Sciences, Social Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, Management Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Engineering, Agriculture and Health Sciences.
A sum of Rs 100,000 will be awarded to the authors of textbooks at a Masters and doctorate level while Rs 80,000 will be awarded to those writing textbooks at bachelor level. Authors of monographs at Masters and Bachelors level will be given Rs 80000 and 70,000 respectively along with a 100 copies of their work.
Interested people who fulfill the leigibility criteria available on HEC’s website should submit their proposals in writing as well as a soft copy along with the required documents through mail at the HEC address available on the website.
