Federal Minister for Hajj Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said that government of PMLN has worked hard to improve the Hajj service in Pakistan.

He also said that when the present government came in power the cost of Hajj Package was Rs. 325,000 which has been reduced to 260,000. Government not only reduced the cost but also increased the facilities which are provided during the holy pilgrimage, he further added.
The Hajj quota was also increased from 56,000 to 70,000 in 2016. He also indicated that this year the quota will be further increased because Saudi King increased the Hajj quota of all countries to the previous figures which was before reduction.
A meeting had been scheduled between Pakistani minister and Saudi Hajj minister which will be held on January 19, where they will discuss the Hajj policies and Pakistani minister will request him to raise the quota for Pakistani people.
