Karachi: Graduate of Tomorrow conference was held at the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University to encourage the students to move forward with their future and beat all odds. The president of MAJU, Dr Abdul Wahab stated that it is the responsibility of the universities to provide graduates that would solve the problems of their country within their limited resources and would not blame the current situation for their failures. He said that unfortunately, the country lacked such institutions that would build the future of the youngsters of Pakistan by guiding them. As a result, the youngsters are forced to take decisions on their own.
The event was also covered by Awami Web as a social media partner. This event was one of its kind as it encouraged the individuals to embrace the changing society and technological advancements and try to groom themselves according to the future needs. The president asserted the youngsters to not be discouraged by failures and to make their passion their career. He stated that unemployment was at a rise, due to the fact that the young graduates were unable to match the standards of the employing agencies. The industry people have given the feedback that it is difficult to find a worthy candidate for the job.
The conference was also attended by Syed Zain Naqvi of FDP, Ehsan Umar of HTV, freelance journalist Hafsa Shah Jilani and famous TV anchor Waseem Badami.
