The international newspaper has made the leading media group doubtful in the eye of the general public due to their shocking disclosure.
Once again anger has reached its peak against solidarity with Pak Army and Jung Group across the country. According to the newspaper, banned organization’s activist who was under the guise of a reporter come with a goal to kill news editor and the host of the talk show but as the reporter was trapped at the right time that’s why he was not able to complete his goal. As report of the New York Times said that an employee of Geo was involved in the attack on the Mehran Base in Karachi in 2011 and after this attack a Geo employee identified as extremists.
The newspaper wrote regarding a former Geo manager that Geo’s employee was involved in the assassination of Geo reporter Wali Khan Babar. Geo employee informed about the motives of the Geo’s reporter Wali Khan Babar to his killers and then they killed Wali Khan Babar on the way to his home.
It is pertinent to mention here that several questions have grown regarding the attack on the senior journalist and anchorperson of Geo Television Hamid Mir and Jung Group did not give any satisfactory answers in this regard. Sadly, the Geo Group knew very well that relationship of some of his people was caught in the past with the group of the banned organization. But even this group blamed Pakistan forces in this context and their allegations had brought bad name to the country.
