Muscle Atrophy causes pain and difficulty in doing daily routine activities, this problem becomes severe with the increase in age.
A new study has been established in Journal of Biological Chemistry revealed that compounds from Apples and tomatoes treats muscle atrophy and ends the pain and difficulty.
Muscle Atrophy is caused by some enzymes but the compound from some fruits and vegetables can stop the triggering of this enzyme.

The research was carried out by Christopher Adams and his colleagues in University of Iowa, in collaboration with other major medical universities of United States of America (USA).
This was found during the research when compounds from these fruits were tested on mice. After eating these compounds the muscle strength was increased from 10 to 30%. Now the researchers are aiming to test it on humans.
