Islamabad: Ex Senator Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Anwar Baig has met Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan and there is a huge possibility that he may join PTI very soon.
Jehangir Tareen who joined PTI from Pakistan Muslim League Q (PML-Q) and Ishaq Khakwani were also present in that meeting.
A member of the meeting has said that Imran khan has shown keen interest to make Anwar Baig part of PTI because of his good relations and ties with the diplomatic world and excellence in human resources, however Baig has asked for some time to make any conclusive decision.
It is worth mentioning here after being excluded from the PPP for meeting with President PML-N Nawaz Sharif on Aug 4 at Raiwind, Senator Nayar Bukhari had suspended his membership and he resigned from the party, but the former Senator never joined his (Nawaz Sharif’s) party.
