ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister of Turkey has phoned to the premier Nawaz Sharif and expressed sorrows on the recent wreck by the flood in the country. While expressing sorrows on the recent destruction by the flood in Pakistan, Turkish Prime Minister Mr Ahmed Dawood Oglu has said that he and his country is ready to support for any relief in this untoward situation. Earlier, Nawaz Sharif met to the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and discussed political situation of the country.
On the other hand, the flood from the river Chenab also played havoc at district Hafizabad in Punjab. The flood snatched happiness and the roofs of the people whereas the government’s negligence also added injuries to their wounds.
The flood in Hafizabad inundated villages and towns. A lot of rural areas in both the district, Hafizabad and Pindi Bhatian, were not even in contact with anyone on ground. Many people left and stuck in their homes and no governmental aid could reach there. Aid organizations and local people themselves were bringing aids to the flood-hit areas while the roads were drowned under several feet of flood water.
The affected people who could take out of the flood areas were also in bad get-ups. Those taking shelters at safety dam in Pindi Bhatian had no roof over their heads but sky. Hundreds of houses were destroyed by the flood water due to which the owners of the houses were in bad condition. The affected people had demanded of the government to drain water from their areas so that they could rebuild their houses.
