Dhaka: Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shehzad in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Dhaka, Bangladesh has become the first Pakistani player to make century in T20. He played an unbeatable innings of 111 runs against Bangladesh. Before this no Pakistani player was able to achieve century in T20 matches. In the match Pakistan defeated Bangladesh for 50 runs.
Ahmed Shehzad played an excellent innings in the match against Bangladesh in which he scored 111 runs and went not-out. He also had the previous honor of biggest T20 innings which he made against Zimbabwe in which he scored 98 runs.
It is the 12 century of the same format in the international competitions. On the top is Australia’s Aaron Finch who against England scored 156 runs in only 63 balls. In world T20 from the top 4 to 5 individual scores of Pakistan is against Bangladesh.
Umar Akmal in previous match with Australia scored 94 runs, while previously in 2010 openers Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt played an innings of 73, 73. In 2012 Imran Nazir played an innings of 72 runs.
