Vanessa O’Brien is the first American & first British woman who succeeded in climbing K2 which is world’s second highest mountain with a height of 28.251 feet. It is not only second highest mountain but is also considered to be the most difficult mountain to climb.
After reaching the top most climbers take photographs with their national flags but Vanessa also carried Pakistani flag with her and said that it is the country which showed me support and love.
One most important flags I carried to the top of #K2 was #Pakistan, a country that has showed me so much love & support #PakistanZindabad pic.twitter.com/sM5oB9bIeL

Vanessa O’Brien tweeted her photograph from the top of K2 which received lovely messages from Pakistani people. She was born in USA and is married to a British man and is citizen of both countries.
Previously she made two unsuccessful attempts in 2015 & 1026 but failed because of the weather but 2017 was lucky and she made it successfully.
This was the first team in three years to reach the top of K2 as all previous expeditions failed, including many renowned teams such as Russell Brice’s Himalayan Experience (HIMEX).
