Six people were burnt to death in a massive blaze in Lahore. On late Saturday night a fire was caught in third floor of a five storey building on Abbot Road situated at Lakshmi Chowk. According to media reports the fire that started in one floor of the building also made inroads into four other buildings in the neighborhood. Rescue team reached the incident place and cordoned off the area.
Six people were killed in the fire and some other received serious burn injuries. Three people have been rescued from the building on fire. Injured people were taken to the nearby hospital.
14 fire tenders are taking part in the operation. Initially the blaze was brought under control but it restarted in the building. Rescue official brought some people to safety from the fire caught building. But it is still not clear that how much people are inside the building.
