BADIN: The ex-speaker of National Assembly and the wife of ex-interior minister Zulfiqar Mirza, Fehmida Mirza has reached Badin on last day of Zulfiqar Mirza’s bail. Fehmida Mirza annoyed seeing police on the way home and said she was not provided with police while coming from Karachi to Badin. She said if such contingents of police kept on deploying there, Zulfiqar Mirza could not then go to court. She further said that new cases had been filed against Zulfiqar Mirza and he was being pressurized to hand over to police.
The member of National Assembly, Fehmida Mirza departed for Badin late night and reached at the passage that was leading to Mirza farm house. She shocked to see the high contingents of police there and asked the policemen to go back if they were for the security of her, taunting that she was not provided with police security while coming from Karachi to Badin. Afterwards, she talked to the media saying that the court approved protective bail of Zulfiqar Mirza but new cases had been filed against him.
Fehmida Mirza said she only hoped to the court for justice in current situation. She added all that was happening only due to pressurizing his husband to hand over to police. She said if such contingents of police stayed there, Zulfiqar Mirza could not go to the court. It is pertinent to mention here that Zulfiqar Mirza stormed in Model Police Station Badin on Sunday along with his supporters. Police officials filed 4 cases against 55 people including Mirza. He got protective bail from Sindh High Court and today is last day of his bail.
