Islamabad: A 2.8 magnitude of earthquake hits Southern areas of Punjab on Monday afternoon, Pakistan Meteorological department reported. According to the Department the intensity of the earthquake was quite low on the Richter scale.
Southern Punjab was the epicenter of this quake. People of these areas were stunned by a wave of sudden shock; they came out of their homes, shops and offices. However, no casualties and damage news have been reported till now from any above areas.
The exact time of the earthquake is yet to reported, however few sources say that the quake hits the areas about 12pm.
