Recently, an American lady doctor was gunned down at Shaheed-e-Millat road Karachi who was shifted to hospital and later declared out of danger. The lady doctor named Dr Debra Lobo was the vice principle of Jinnah Medical and Dental College. After the incident took place, some media channels said that the attackers who attacked on the lady were identified whereas some channels said that the search of the attackers were underway. In this regard, the government offered Rs 2 million for informing about the attackers.
According to a local news channel, the attackers who gunned down policemen of the Preedy Police Station were involved in attacking the lady doctor. It was revealed after the forensic report that said that the same weapons were used in both the attacks.
Soon after the attack, some American officials reached to the hospital to ask after her whereas the prime Minister of Pakistan took notice of the incident, directing that the attackers be arrested immediately.
Anyhow, the investigation of the incident has been started and it is hoped that the attackers will be arrested soon. Dr Debra Lobo fortunately is out of danger who received bullet on her face and was critically injured.
