Pakistani Consul General on the instructions of Pakistani ambassador Hussain Haqqani visited Carswell detention facility in Texas where he met with detained Pakistani scientist Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.

In two hour meeting, Dr. Aafia informed the Consul General that she is pleased to talk with her mother and children on Thursday.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui may also get a chance to meet her brother at her request.
