Five more people were died due to dengue virus in Lahore and the death toll due to dengue virus raised at 13 during last 12 hours.

The funeral prayers of Member Punjab Assembly, Mumtaz Jijja, who was died on Thursday due to dengue virus, was offered in Bahawalpur on Friday which was attended by PML-N leaders including Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Ahmed Ali Olakh and others; meanwhile Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif along with Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan offered condolences with the grieved family and attended the burial procession.
Meanwhile Zahid Bashir 35, died due to dengue at Mayo hospital on the morning of Friday, meanwhile 12 people died during last 12 hours in different hospitals of Lahore including a Chinese doctor and MPA Mumtaz Jijja.
Saima, Gul Naz, Sobia, Gulzar, Irshad, Asma Kanwal, police constable Fayaz, Nasreen, Musa, Bushra and Ilyas also died due to dengue virus.
According to the health department, 464 new cases of dengue fever registered during last 24 hours out of them 379 belong to Lahore.
11915 people were hit by dengue virus, meanwhile more than 10994 patients of dengue virus under treatment in different hospitals of Lahore.
It is worth mentioning here that 116 people died due to dengue virus in Lahore.
