Convicted cricketer in match fixing case Mohammad Amir has created another controversy with his behavior and it seems that he has not taken any lesson from his past. Young cricketer Mohammad Asif has been fined by Pakistan Cricket Board for brawl with famous cricketer Faisal Iqbal. According to Pakistani media, the incident took place during qualifying round match of Quaid e Azam Trophy between PIA and Sui Southern Gas, in Faisalabad.
Mohammad Asif was playing for Sui Southern Gas while Faisal Iqbal was playing for another team PIA. During the match, Mohammad Asif had taunt many times to Faisal Iqbal, on his relations with legendary cricketer Javed Miandad. His behavior with Faisal Iqbal was very bad due to which Faisal Iqbal also came close to him and heat between both the players increases.
Just after this incident, PCB has taken very serious notice on this issue and fined Mohammad Amir 150% of the match fee, while Faisal Iqbal has been given a warning. He was first fined 50% of the match fees for misbehaving, while after brawl with Faisal Iqbal, fined 100% of match fee.
“Amir has been fined 150% match fee for two incidents of misbehavior against PIA,” said PCB Official, local newspaper reported.
