President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that revolution started occurring in Sindh and the destiny of Sindh is about to change, adding that we will restore the honor and dignity of the people of Sindh and would address the grievances of people after coming into power.
This he said while addressing a big gathering of flood-affectees at Shehdadpur here on Tuesday.
He said the he is visiting Sindh to ask about the hardships of flood-affectees, adding that the people of Sindh live in his heart and he was concerned about the people stranded in floodwater.
He said that he eradicated the ‘rule of dacoits’ in his previous tenure and he would also do the same thing in future, adding that the rule of corruption and corrupt elements should end now from the country.
He said that water still present in the streets and houses of the people, adding that it is matter of great condolence that the hardships of the affectees have not been decreased yet.
He said that his kindness is not oral, adding that we had sent 860 trucks aid worth of 550 million rupees support for Punjab for the flood-affectees, adding it is our right to support our affected brothers of Sindh not sympathy.
He said that we are scarifying our lives for people of Sindh, adding that we are well-wishers of 180 million people of Pakistan and wanted to see Pakistan as a progressing country.
He said that the situation of Sindh is still same as that of 1947, adding that if our government had not been removed from power then we had allotted the land to all the small farmers of Sindh.
He said if the people back us we will change the destiny of people and construct a new Pakistan, adding that we will provide respectable jobs to the youth of the country.
He said he was among the people because he feels the pain of people, adding that he is not prime minister or president.
He asked the government once again to pay Rs 100,000 to each flood victim for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of their houses and should not use the delay tactics of “turkhalogy” by giving only 10,000 rupees to flood affectees.
He said revolution started in Sindh and this change is necessary to change the destiny of our kids, brothers, sisters and country, adding that gas and electricity is not available in the country.
He said that culprits responsible for the crisis of Karachi should be punished, adding that now the system should be changed and the culprit should be brought in the court of law, adding that whoever is criminal should be punished.
