Karachi: The departure of the convoys for attending the public congregation of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) at Lahore is being continued and several convoys left for Lahore from Cantt Station, Karachi here on Wednesday. According to details, JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman on Wednesday seen-off the convoys left for Lahore in order to attend the public congregation.
Naib Ameer JI Karachi Barjees Ahmed, General Secretary Abdul Wahab, Information Secretary Zahid Askari and others accompanied the JI Karachi Chief in seeing-off the convoys from Cantt Station. Large numbers of party workers and sympathizers including elderly men, women and children were also included in the convoys. On the occasion, the party workers chanted slogans and waived party flags.
Speaking at the occasion, Hafiz Naeem said that the public congregation will certainly prove a milestone in the history of the country and playing a vital role in steering out the country from crises.
“The over-whelming response of the nation towards the public congregation has open evidence that the people stand with the JI leadership in order to bring Islamic revolution in the country”, he added.
On the occasion, the JI Karachi Chief expressed sincere wishes for the departed convoys and prayed to Almighty Allah that the God will give historic success to the public congregation. The last convoy for attending public congregation has left for Lahore at 11.00pm.
