New Delhi: A gas company of India named Indraprashta Gas Limited has announced a decrease in the CNG/ Compressed Natural Gas and PNG/ Piped Natural Gas. The rates of CNG have been decreased from Rs. 50.10 per KG to 35.20 per KG. This is a total decrease of Rs. 14.90 per KG. While the rate of PNG has been decrease from Rs. 29.50 per unit use of 30 SCM (Standard Cubic Meter) to Rs. 24.50 per unit use of 36 standard cubic meter.
Indraprashta Gas Limited (IGL) is India’s first company that has reduced the rates of CNG and PNG in six years. It is a gas retailer company of India which has decreased the gas rates. The oil ministry on which the company is based on is extracting cheap gas mostly from India’s domestic areas.
This reduction of gas price in India has created a great impact on the public of neighboring country Pakistan. According to Pakistan’s local news channels, if India can decrease gas rates then why could Pakistan not do that?
