Peshawar: Chief Minister of Khyber PakhtunKhwa Pervez Khattak has announced an increase in the salaries of local police of the province and has also given Rs. 2 billion. After his announcement of the increase in salaries of police, Chief Minister had urged the cops that they should now perform their duties in the best way and make the public realize that they the police is serving them.
For the increase in salaries and incentive of police Chief Minister of Khyber PakhtunKhwa has announced an amount of Rs. 2 billion. A normal police constable’s salary will be increased by twenty six thousand rupees while that of high rank officials will increase according to the ratio.
At Malik Shaheed Police Lines the Chief Minister has addressed to the Darbar of Provincial Police force that the work of police forces is to maintain law and order not to fight but after fighting terrorists Peshawar police has made us proud.
He further said that after the increase in salaries the police should implement the order 2002 to make people feel that police is performing its duties. He also told of establishing a strong accountability commission that will account event the Chief Minister.
