Karachi: The Champions League T20 Governing Council, on Friday, announced the schedule for the fourth edition of the CLT20 2012 tournament which is going to be played from October 9 to 28 at four different venues in South Africa.
According to the details, Centurion, Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town are the venues, getting the privilege of holding Champions League matches.
The International stars of as many as 14 champion teams from eight countries will be featuring in almost three week long electrifying event.
The most important thing to mention here is that Pakistan will be represented for the first time ever by Sialkot Stallions in the tournament.
However, the teams from England and Sri Lanka will be decided after the results of the ongoing Friends Life T20 and the next month’s Sri Lanka Premier League.
The teams group list is as follows,
Qualifier 1: Sialkot Stallions, Auckland and One team from England
Qualifier 2: Trinidad & Tobago, Winner of SLPL and One team from England
Group A: Kolkatta, Perth, Delhi, Titans and Winner of Qualifier 1
Group B: Chennai, Mumbai, Lions, Sydney Sixers and Winner of Qualifier 2
