Karachi: Director General of Colleges of Sindh and Chairman of the CAP Committee Prof Dr Nasir Ansar has announced that the admissions procedure in the government colleges of the metropolis for first year classes under the Centralized Admission Policy for the year 2012-13 will kick start on Friday and continue till 9th August.
He announced this at a press conference held here at the Government College for Women on Thursday. He told that the early commencement of the admissions process is because as we are looking ahead to complete the procedure during the summer vacation. Last year, the process started on 9th August.
It is to mention here that the prospectus for admissions can be bought and submitted at any of the 42 Meezan Bank Limited branches specifically selected for this purpose in 18 different towns of the city. The price of the form is Rs60. The placement process is for Karachi students only.
