Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor film’s Bullett Raja and R…Rajkumar respectively were not released in Pakistan which hurt the producers as in the recent months now Pakistan has become a major market of Bollywood films from where it earns a handsome money.
Both the films were not allowed to screen in Pakistan as Lahore High Court has put a ban on the exhibition of Illegal Bollywood films on 19th November . The petition was filed by journalist Mubashir Luqman who hosts “Khara Sach” on ARY News.
The court has stated that no Bollywood (Indian) film will be censored or released in Pakistan until the court will give its final verdict.
However Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan) film is screening in Pakistani cinemas. Some of the fans of Bollywood films are disappointed by the decision and some are appreciating the decision of Lahore High Court. Pakistani producers are of the view that this ban will help Pakistani films as now film makers will produce more films to fulfill the needs of theatres.
