Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) collects property tax on property whether it is in the form of plot, flat or a luxury farmhouse. Recently FBR revealed details about the valuation of property tax on different plot and homes in Bahria Town Karachi.
The property tax is different for the seller and purchaser of the property and it also accounts whether the seller/purchaser has filled his tax return or not, for non-filers the tax is double. Here is the tax details of different property in Bahria Town:
