Airblue Limited is a private airline with its headquarters at the 12th floor of the Islamabad Stock Exchange Towers. It operates scheduled flights operating 30 daily services linking four domestic destinations in Pakistan that is Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar with the international services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Shariah and Muscat. It has its main base at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
Airblue was established in 2003 and started its flight services in 2004. It initially had three leased Airbus A320-200 aircraft connecting Karachi to Lahore and Karachi to Islamabad. Three flights were scheduled every day towards these destinations. Zafarullah Khan Jamali, the then Prime Minister if Pakistan, inaugurated the airline service. Airblue has expanded since and now connects other cities as well.
