Karachi: Pakistani actress Haya Ali Senghal said that if good films start to be made in Pakistan then there is no need for Pakistani actors to go abroad. There were some good movies made in 2013, which raised the hopes of many Pakistani actors. People thought that the film industry of Pakistan will be revived to its lost glory and that the industry will soon be back on its feet, but unfortunately, such attempts have come to an end once again. The year 2014 is half gone and still there has been no good release.
Haya Ali said that it was necessary to produce at least 25 to 30 movies in order to better the situation. She also said that she was currently busy in shooting of a few drama serials that will be released on Eid-ul-Fitr. She is currently stationed in Karachi and goes to visit her family in Lahore now and then.
Haya has been offered to work in a few Indian movies as well. She has taken up a few projects across the border, but is not enthusiastic to work there as, she it affected her work in Karachi. She said that she had to leave all he in Pakistan to work in India. She has decided to work in Pakistan only and feels more comfortable working in her home country. She is an admirer of Indian actors and watches Juhi Chawla, Karina Kapoor and Madhuri very keenly. She said that Pakistani actors have also performed superbly in Pakistani movies and classical actors such as Shabnam, Zeba, Babra Sharif and Raani were admirable.
